Wickenburg Sun (AZ) Thursday, August 29, 1963, p 13 Death Summons State Pioneer Funeral services were held at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning at the Wickenburg Chapel for Mrs Rose Stillman of Wenden, a pioneer resident of Arizona, who passed away August 25 in Community Hospital here. The services were conducted by the Rev James Wilson and burial followed in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Born in Big Springs, Tex., February 16, 1882, her parents brought her to Arizona the same year and she lived, at various times, in Globe, Phoenix, Congress, Bouse and Wenden. She attended the annual meetings of the Arizona Pioneer Society for many years. She was the widow of the late George Stillman who was in the mining business most of his life. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs Roberta Allen and Mrs Gladys Lott, Wenden; Mrs Dollie Scherer, Phoenix and Mrs Harriet McClelland, Redwood city, Calif. Two surviving sons are Arthur Stillman of Wenden and William Stillman of Santa Maria, Calif. A brother, Sterling P Winters lives in Spring Valley, Calif. Eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive.
