Donald Dean Mumford passed from this life on Oct. 14, 2014. He was born
Feb. 20, 1932, in Oshkosh, Neb., to Fred and Blanche Mumford.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Blanche Mumford, his
sister Joanne and his first wife, Norma.
Donald is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Donna; his two sons,
Don Jr. and Murray; and his daughters, Jacquie and Sherrie, all of
Colorado.
He is also survived by stepsons Greg Mills of Farmington, N.M., David
Mills of Denver, Colo., and Pam Miller of Casper, Wyo.
Don loved to fly and had his private pilot's license. He built a Mooney
Mite and enjoyed flying it with the other Mooney Mite Owners. They had a
lot of fun in those little planes.
Don was also an avid golfer and met many friends on and off the golf
course. He was the Valle Vista Club Champion one year and played many
courses around the state.
