Dolores Dee Harlan

Dolores "Dee" Harlan, 96, passed away October 23, 2014 at Flagstaff Medical Center. She was born July 17, 1918 in Winslow and lived in Flagstaff most of her life. She worked as a civilian at the Navajo Army Depot, where she retired in 1976.
Dolores was one of the original members of the Flagstaff Women's Bowling Association, participating in that Association for 55 years. She also competed with the AZ Bowlerettes and WIBC, attending State and National competitions for over 35 years. Dolores was a Life Member of the American Legion.
Dolores is preceded in death by her husband, "Gratz", and sons George and Melvin Harlan.
She is survived by her grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Larry and Edna Harlan of Sandia Park, New Mexico, granddaughter, Teri Amely of Fresno, California, and three great grandchildren, Hunter Harlan, Logan Harlan and Nicholas Arnely.
Services will be held at Norvel Owens Mortuary, 914 E. Route 66, on Thursday October 30 at 10:00 a.m., with a graveside service following at Citizens’ Cemetery. A reception will also be held at the American Legion Post at 204 W. Birch Ave. following graveside services.
