Arizona Weekly Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Wednesday, March 30, 1898, page 3, column 5 Dennis A. Burke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis A. Burke, died this afternoon at 1 o'clock, after an illness with brain fever lasting only since last Friday. He was aged 4 years and 11 months and was an unusually bright and attractive little fellow. The funeral will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, March 29, from the family residence at 2 p.m. Friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend. ---------------- Weekly Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Wednesday, March 30, 1898, page 3, The funeral of little Dennis Burke took place this afternoon from the family residence. The sudden death of this little boy is a sad blow to his parents and other members of the family, and the sympathy of all our people go out to them in their sad bereavement. Transcriber's note: Little Dennis is buried at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona, next to his father.
