Prescott Evening Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, March 15, 1948, page 1, column 2 Arrange Services For Mrs. Cartmell Funeral services for Mrs. Kathleen May Cartmell, 62, who died Saturday morning in Marcus Lawrence Memorial hospital, will be held at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning in the Sacred Heart church. Services at the church will be followed by interment in Mountain View cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 7 o'clock tonight in the Lester Ruffner Funeral Home chapel. Mrs. Cartmell was born at Fort Whipple, Feb. 9, 1880, the daughter of Mrs. Jennie Burke and the late Dennis A. Burke. She was graduated from St. Joseph's Academy in 1900. She is survived by her husband, Dr. F. H. Cartmell, Santa Fe physician at Ash Fork; her mother, Mrs. Burke, and sister, Mrs. Mary E. Goodwin, both of Prescott; a sister, Mrs. J. W. (Anna) Kramer, of Washington, D.C., and a brother, Beverly Burke, Phoenix druggist. There are also several nieces and nephews, one of whom, George Goodwin, is manage of Ensininger's Pharmacy.
