Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Wednesday, October 29, 2014 - Robert “Bobby” Eugene Carter, age 84, passed away Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014. Robert was born Jan. 20, 1930, in Burlington, Colo. He is the son of the late Roy and Viola Gladys (King) Carter. On April 27, 1991, Bobby married Delilah Marie Carter. Bobby had a passion for collecting coins. He made Lake Havasu City his home for 39 years. Bobby is survived by his wife, Delilah (Dolly) Carter of Lake Havasu City; son, Roy Carter of Lake Havasu City; step-son, Joe Hadsall Jr. (Rhonda) of Aiken, S.C.; step-daughters, Dianna Sherrock (James) and Karen Hadsall; brother, Iven Carter; and brother-in-law, Paul Whaley of Springfield, Ohio. He is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, and too many special friends to mention. Bobby is proceeded in death by parents, Roy and Viola Carter; five brothers, three sisters and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home in the Chapel 21 Riviera Blvd., Lake Havasu City, Thursday, Oct. 30, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Followed by services at 10 a.m. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
