Linda Alm, 74, passed away peacefully at the Polidori House in Lake
Havasu City, Friday, Oct. 24, 2014. She was born to Everett (Doc) and
Jennie Housenga, in Fulton, Ill., Jan. 7, 1940.
Linda married Lester (Butch) Kimmel, Sept. 26, 1956 and had two
children, Jeffrey and Patricia.
Linda was united in marriage to Darrell Alm in Comanche, Iowa, Jan. 10,
1986. After several company moves with International Paper, they retired
in 1994 in Lake Havasu City.
Linda loved Lake Havasu City and was an avid golfer, having had three
holes in one.
She is survived by her husband Darrell of Lake Havasu City; son, Jeffrey
(Jan) Kimmell and daughter, Patricia (Rick) Fredricks, both of Illinois
and step-daughters, Jeri Kay Moe and Teresa Green, both of Texas and
several nieces, nephews and cousins. Linda has six grandchildren and 11
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Butch Kimmel, her parents, two sisters and
three brothers.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m., Monday, Nov. 3, at St. Michael’s
Methodist Church, 2895 S. Jamaica Blvd.
The family request memorials be made to the Polidori House (Hospice).
