Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, Prescott, Arizona Robert D. Fitzgerald June 5, 1934 ~ October 24, 2014 Robert D. Fitzgerald of Prescott, Arizona, passed away on October 24, 2014. He was 80 years old. Born on June 5, 1934, in Chicago, Illinois, Mr. Fitzgerald was married to Mary Doran for thirty-nine years before her passing in 1999. His wife Harumi survives him, as do his children Matt, Daniel, Mark and Maggie, and stepchildren David, Kathryn, and Bridget. Among Bob's favorite pastimes were woodworking, golf, music and spending time with his grandchildren Kiley, Ryan, Carly, Audrey, Keagan, Amaya, Takara and Declan. A graduate of the University of Illinois, Bob spent many years in sales, primarily for the telecommunications company GTE. His job took him many places including Georgia, Ohio, New York and ultimately to Northridge, California, where his family put down roots and lived for over thirty years. Along with his wife, Harumi, Bob was a very active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Northridge, California.
