COSTANZO, Conrad Thomas


Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from Oct. 31 to Nov. 6, 2014 - Conrad Thomas Costanzo, age 66, a 9-year resident of Bullhead City, Ariz. passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Western Arizona Regional Medical Center after a long struggle with injuries from an automobile accident in 1999. Conrad was born December 8, 1947 in Wilkinsburg, Pa. to William Costanzo and Elizabeth Ellen Puccetti Costanzo. He moved with his family to Southern California in 1949, attended grammar school in El Monte and high school in Covina, Calif. before joining the Merchant Marines and serving in Vietnam. He settled in Hawaii where he owned and operated a successful Lei Greeting business for several decades. He returned to Southern California where he became a master carpenter, later moving to Northern California to help family members. He started a successful e- bay business after the automobile accident limited his physical abilities. He visited friends who lived in Bullhead City many times over the years and finally moved here because he loved the desert, the hot weather and the friendly people. He is survived by his close immediate family; William and Virginia Costanzo of Scottsdale, Ariz.; Constance Tolleson of Bullhead City, Ariz. and Merle Rasmus of Nevada City, Calif. He leaves behind his beloved nieces and great nephews: Leigh Ann and Margaret Costanzo, Daniel and Cameron Maxwell, Lisa and Zachary Wilkins and Elizabeth Tolleson. He will be sorely missed by his extended family and life-long friends, the Tollesons, the Cohoons, the O'Tooles, the Dudzinskis, the Puccettis, the Siders-Samoras, John Cundiff and the Deetzs as well as his many friends in Bullhead City, West Covina, and Tracy. He was baptized April 12, 2001 at Gate Tree Baptist Church in Danville, California. His whole family is comforted to know they will see him again.
