She is also survived by her mother Shirley Silva of Cottonwood, Arizona and brothers Jay C. Silva of Aurora and Frank Silva of Highlands Ranch. She was preceded in death by her beloved father, Jay Frank Silva. Cori was born on September 15, 1960 in Santa Barbara, CA. As a young girl, her family moved to Klamath Falls, Oregon where she eventually graduated from Henley High School in 1978. Cori earned a degree in political science from University of Oregon in 1982 where she was also a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority. After college, Cori married Ken Schrader and lived extensively in Boise, Idaho and Fort Collins, Colorado. Cori's greatest joy in life was her faith in Jesus, her children, and her many friends. She stayed actively involved in her church in Boise by helping to lead high school and college age ministries. In Fort Collins, she continued her church involvement by co-leading a small group and worshiping regularly at the Fort Collins Vineyard. Cori excelled at planning events that brought people together, and with her partner Debbie West, started and ran All About Events for several years in Northern Colorado. Later she focused on helping young people by working with troubled youth in Loveland. Cori was a light in the lives of those who knew her. She will be dearly missed but we know that she is at peace and dancing in heaven. A celebration of her life will be held at the Vineyard Church of the Rockies (1201 Riverside Avenue, Fort Collins, CO 80524) on Oct. 18th at 2 pm. A reception will follow. Those who knew and loved Cori are welcomed to join. Cards can be sent to her family at the Vineyard of Fremont County, 245 South Raynolds Avenue, Canon City, CO 81212.
