Sherwood In memory of Dorothy J Sherwood 1924-2014 We honor the passing of 35-year Sedona resident Dorothy J Sherwood on October 14, 2014. She is survived by her daughter Nanette Girvin of Sedona, her son and daughter-in-law Mark and Mary Sherwood of Cottonwood, grandchildren Gina Richards, Evan (Jennifer) Richards, Travis (Christina) Richards, Destiny (Tim) Blackey, Jennifer Girvin and her great grandchildren Samantha, Alexis, Lennon and Ethan. Dorothy was born in Brookfield, Illinois in 1924, where she lived with her five sisters and brothers. In 1948 she moved to Los Angeles, CA, where she met and married her husband of 60 years, Milton Sherwood. They retired to Sedona in 1980 when they purchased a small horse ranch where Dorothy remained & loved until her passing. Her never-ending kindness, strength, love of her family and animals will stay in our hearts forever. We love and miss her. Her family.
