Wickenburg Funeral Home & Crematory, Wickenburg, Arizona Barbara Faith Rudy August 17, 1935 - November 3, 2014 Barbara Faith Rudy, 79, passed away November 3, 2014 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Barbara was born August 17, 1935 in Princeton, Kentucky to William Thompson and Meda Gulledge Thompson. She was raised in Arizona and California and was a longtime resident of Bagdad & Scottsdale. She was a homemaker and worked in banking at Bagdad moving to Scottsdale in 1972 where she began working with Motorola and Sentry Insurance Co. Barbara was a member of New Life Community Church in Scottsdale and very active in the Women's ministries at the church. Most important in her life was family and she was a woman of faith and involved in the church ministries all of her life. She was preceded in death by her brother William Thompson in 1968. Barbara is survived by her children Cheryl Nelson of Scottsdale, William "Bud" Rudy of Bagdad, sister Inez Sargent of Vista, CA. and grandchildren: Misti Roberts, Brandon Nelson, Beau Nelson, Yvette Sandoval & Aundi Simpson great-grandchildren: Ach Neslon, Celena Nelson, Gavin Nelson, Zane Nelson, Kirstan Nelson, Jake Roberts, Dillan Nelson, Devin Nelson, Brandon Neslon, Thomas Nelson, Araceli Sandoval, Roman Sandoval, Lukas Simpson, Chase Simpson & Bella Molinari. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 10:00AM at the New Life Community Church at 2500 N. Scottsdale Rd. in Scottsdale with Visitation 1 hour prior to services. Interment will follow at the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery at 2:00 PM.
