CONTRERAS, Ramon Andres (Ray)

Press-Enterprise (Riverside CA) Monday, November 11, 2013 Ramon (Ray) Contreras, age 85, passed away on 11/4/2013 at Cherry Valley Health Care in Banning, CA. He was born on 2/4/1928 in Phoenix, Arizona to Ramon O. and Claudina Contreras. He lived in Cherry Valley, CA for 23 years, previously in Banning, CA for 20 years. He graduated from Wickenburg High School. He was a Manager at Frankie's Market in Banning, and later self employed in construction and plumbing for 15 years. Ray is survived by his sons Tim Contreras of Yucaipa, CA, Ray Contreras Jr of Calimesa, CA and Mike Contreras of Banning, CA; daughter Brenda Moffitt of Needles, CA; 15 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years Lois Contreras. Graveside service will be on Friday, 11/15/13 at 11:00am at San Gorgonio Memorial Park, 2210 N San Gorgonio Ave., Banning, CA.
