Virgil Duane Johnson, age 85, of Lake Havasu City, passed away Saturday, 
Nov. 1, 2014. Virgil was born July 11, 1929 in Watertown, S.D. He later 
married Dott Doretha Douthit in Las Vegas; they were happily married for 
40 years.

Virgil was part of the U.S. Navy and later worked for General Dynamics 
for 30 years. In his free time Virgil loved to landscape and work in his 
garden.

Virgil was a proud and active member of the American Legion, the VFW, as 
well as both the Eagles and the Elks clubs.

He is survived by his wife, Dott Johnson of Lake Havasu City; son, 
Jeffry Johnson of Arkansas; daughter, Virgi Elaine of Arkansas; and 
brother, Darrell Johnson of Minnesota. He is also survived by seven 
grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and 
Crematory.
