Gaylen Kinder, 77, lost his battle due to illnesses on Nov. 9, 2014, at
Kingman Regional Medical Center.
He was born to Veloyed Ruben and Ellen Melissa Kinder in Salt Lake City,
Utah, on Sept. 10, 1937. He married Mary E. Thompson on Jan. 18, 1958.
He had resided in Yucca since 1991 and worked at Sterilite for 15 years
and Ford Proving Grounds for years to follow.
Gaylen is survived by his daughters, Darla (Robert) Morgan, Donna
(Terri) Ikola and LaRue (Rich) Kinder/Arntson; sons, Robert (Grace)
Kinder, Gaylen Kinder Jr. and Veloyed (Olivia) Kinder; brothers Lamar
Kinder and Henry Piep; sisters Renae Kinder, Debbie Belarde and Ellen
Bennet; 19 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; father, mother, step-father,
two brothers and two sisters; daughter, Becky Redner; son, Jimmy Kinder;
and grandchildren LaMont, James and Braydon Kinder.
Gaylen was a wonderful husband, son, brother, father, grandfather,
great-grandfather and friend. He was a hard-working man who made sure
his family was always taken care of and he would give the shirt off his
back for any friend in need.
The celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014,
at Yucca Elementary School. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that
donations to be made to the executor, Robert Kinder, to help with final
expenses.
