Norvel Owens Mortuary, Flagstaff, Arizona Samuel "Spencer" Evans (April 28, 1997 - November 8, 2014) Our beloved, Samuel "Spencer" Evans, left his earthly body on Saturday November 08, 2014. He leaves behind a heartbroken family including his Mother, Jennie Aldridge; Stepfather, David Fain; his Brother, Clayton and Sister, Annalea; Father, Sam Evans; Maternal Grandparents, Sandy (Bill) Bowman; Jesse (Shirley) Aldridge; Many adoring Aunts, his Uncle, and cousins; his girlfriend Serena Olivas; second family, Sue and Will Lesko; and a multitude of friends. Spencer was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Gary Evans and Becky Maness, and his dog River. Spencer was born in Dallas, Texas on April 28, 1997. He charmed us all from the start; big huge eyes, a grin to match and a wonderful Texas-sized sense of humor. Spencer was funny, intelligent and charismatic. He approached life full on. He was a lover of music, movies and good books, and he was a fantastic storyteller. He was affectionate and a good listener, you could always count on him for a hug and a hand on your shoulder. He was a friend to all. Spencer was the ultimate big brother; the protector, entertainer, and educator of his brother and sister. He was his Mother’s Number One, her “Sun”. He will be dearly, dearly missed by all who had the privilege of sharing time and space with him. Spencer, the strength of your spirit will prevail. We will be ever surrounded by your presence. We take comfort knowing you are at peace in the arms of God. A memorial service honoring Spencer’s life will be held on Saturday November 15th, 2:00 pm at Trinity Heights United Methodist Church 3600 N. 4th St, Flagstaff, Arizona 86004.
