Gene Scott Walter, 63, died Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014, in Springerville. He was born Jan. 11, 1951, in Ann Arbor, Mich., the son of Donald and Margaret Pettis Walter.

Gene enjoyed restoring old muscle cars, wood working and riding motorcycles.

He is survived by two daughters, Leann (Jerry) Holloway of Clarksville, Tenn., and Corina (Daniel) Gutierrez of Eagar; and 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and a brother.

A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Springerville.
