He was born January 15, 1942 to Grant and Helen (Naha) Johnson. He was an outdoorsman; enjoyed fishing and hunting. He grew up in Whiteriver and later in life moved to McNary, Eagar and Nutrioso, Arizona to work. He worked for the Southwest Forrest Industries and specialized in Timber. He was helpful with cutting firewood. He will be remembered for his knowledge of the Apache Customs. He is survived by His Children: Irwin Johnson, Colleen J. Childs, Lindbert Johnson Jr., Novalita Johnson, Brady Johnson; Sister: Charlene (Johnson) Lupe. He is preceded in death by his Father: Grant Johnson; Mother: Helen (Naha) Johnson; Siblings: Garrison Johnson Sr., Arden Johnson, Mary Jane Johnson, Ancas Johnson, Loween J. Harvey, Shirley Ann J. Hill, Vern Johnson; Daughter: Kathleen (Johnson) Potter. His Wake will be held Monday, November 17, 2014 at 10:00 am at 513 1st Street, McNary, Arizona. There will be a Home Funeral Service on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 1:00 pm in McNary, Arizona. After the Funeral, the Interment will take place at the Whiteriver Cemetery.
