MARVIN, Thomas Howard (Tom)

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Sunday, November 16, 2014 Thomas Howard Marvin, 71, passed away on Nov. 5, 2014, in Phoenix, Arizona. He has gone on to join the love of his life, Karen, to dance through eternity (and to watch an occasional Sprint Car Race). Tom was born on Jan. 7, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Howard and Edna Marvin. He grew up in the Howell, Michigan, area. He was a resident of Prescott, Arizona, from 1969 to 1988. Tom was married to Karen for 47 years, until her passing in December 2008. He is survived by his three children and their families, Susan Cutaia (Tony Cutaia, Sydney and Kevin), Connie Crill (Daniel Crill, Jaiden) and Scott Marvin (Alex and Kelsey). He is also survived by his siblings, Judy Hayward, Elaine Matherly, Sue Ann Hill, Frances Smith, Patricia Bell, Margaret Stephens, Tony Marvin and Michelle Hess. He was preceded in death by his brothers Brian and Chris Marvin. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Phoenix Rescue Mission or Big Brothers Big Sisters in your area.
