Carl Edward Lauck of Kingman passed away on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2014.
He was born in Mesa on March 30, 1947, to Woodrow and Emily Allene
(Jones) Lauck. He met his wife, Vicki (Hext), when he was 13 years old
and married her six years later on June 18, 1966.
Carl successfully owned and operated several businesses, the first being
a junkyard that he purchased with a partner at the age of 17. He was
very successful as a salesman for Shamrock Foods, where he worked for 25
years and received consecutive top earning awards from the company. Most
recently he owned the Hualapai Kwik Stop on Hualapai Mountain Road that
he sold to his son, Dion, 10 years ago when he retired.
He was a skilled craftsman, a successful gardener and loved to cook. He
was passionate about hunting, fishing, camping and Scouting.
Carl is survived by Vicki; his son, Dion; his wife, Marni; daughter,
Shawni (Lauck) Narze and her husband, Brian; 11 grandchildren; and two
great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the LDS Church at 10 a.m. Saturday,
Nov. 15, 2014, with a viewing beginning at 9 a.m.
