Vistoso Funeral Home, Oro Valley, Arizona Victor Lynn November 11, 1925 - October 14, 2014 Victor Lynn was born in Surrey, England on November 11, 1925. He served proudly in the British Navy during World War II. After his discharge from the Navy, he joined the British Metropolitan Police, where amongst his duties, he was part of an elite group of privileged officers that assisted in providing motorcycle escort services to Queen Elizabeth. In 1952, Victor and his family emigrated to Toronto, Canada, where he was a mounted police officer until 1960, which is when the family relocated to Denver, Colorado. In 1966, Victor and his family moved to Mission Viejo, California, where he and his wife Joan, owned and managed a successful interior design studio. In 1987, he and Joan retired and returned to England. In 1991, Victor had the honor of joining the Masons, Lodge #329, in Yeovil, Somerset, England. In 1994, Victor and Joan moved back to Tucson, Arizona, to be closer to their family. Victor Lynn is survived by Joan, his wife of 68 years, his son Alan, his daughter, Maria, 4 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. He will be missed by all those who knew him.
