Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Saturday, November 22, 2014 - Georgia Dells DeMarce peacefully and without pain passed away, Oct. 26, 2014 at the age of 93 in Lake Havasu City. Mom was ready to move forward to begin eternity with her two wonderful husbands Gene and Brue and all of her friends and family that have previously passed on. We want to thank each one of you for the special role you played in Mom’s lifetime! Some of our dear friends only knew Mom through our stories about her, but you laughed or sympathized with us along the way and we thank you for that support! Georgia had a long, very active and fun time living life, up until the last few years that Alzheimer’s finally took over. She was most proud of her academic accomplishments. She loved teaching. She also enjoyed traveling to Lake Almanor every summer she could, enjoying games with friends and family. She was a bright, intelligent, well spoken, always looking her best lady, whom will be remembered, loved, and missed. We ask you to rejoice with us in her well-lived life. A special thanks to the caregivers and nurses at Lakeview Terrace Memory Care for the love, care and kindness you gave Georgia while she was there. We truly appreciate it. Thank you also to the beautiful Lietz- Fraze Funeral Home. We are grateful for the tender way in which you handled everything and the great help and comfort you were to us. We also want to extend gratitude to the fine Hospice organization of Lake Havasu City and their nurses for their dedication to mom and making sure she was not feeling pain in the end.
