Jack Finegan 76, loving father, grandfather and uncle returned to his eternal home Nov. 15, 2014, in California after battling cancer.
Born in Sterling, Colo., June 30, 1938, to the late John Edward Thomas Finegan, Sr. and Mary “Molly” Finegan.
He was proceeded in death by his wife Linda Finegan, and is survived by his three children, Heather “Finegan” Patey and sons John and Scott Finegan; grandchildren, Chelsey Finegan, Britney Finegan, Ashley Finegan, John Finegan, Montanna Patey and Colton Patey and two great-grandchildren, Landen and Teegan Nixon; four sisters Patty, Sheila and Julie Finegan and the late Bernadine; and brother James Finegan; many nieces and nephews in South Dakota; a special friend Monica Lambert of Arizona and many special friends in Wickenburg who prayed and supported him through his illness.
The family thanks all of them, and friends from all over for all the prayers and support through this difficult time.
His burial will take place Dec. 1 at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, Calif., at 12:30 p.m. followed by a celebration of life at his home in Wickenburg from 2 - 5 p.m. Dec. 6.
