Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Tuesday, November 25, 2014 - Carreen Crusch, affectionately known as CC to RV friends was born May 5, 1938 in Billings, Mont. and passed away Nov. 14, 2014 in Las Vegas, Nev., after a short illness. She was the oldest of three children born to Evelyn G. Bahn and Dallas B. McNeil. Carreen was very active at her high school in Froid, Mont., including Class Vice President. She graduated in 1956. Carreen married her only love Marvin Crusch from Bainville, Mont., in Froid, Mont., December 1956. They had a son Byron in 1959. He died shortly after he was born. Her four-legged love was their Yorkshire Terrier named "Missy". Carreen graduated from Cosmetology school in Washington State in 1964. She built a client base and handled her business for 15 years. Although their 'home' was in Washington State for 31 years, Marvin's job took them all over the western US - Nevada, Colorado, Arizona, California. At each site, they made new friends and kept up with them throughout their life. Carreen and Marvin spent the last seven years in Lake Havasu City. Carreen belonged to several organizations including Elks, Eagles and American Legion. She was also a proud member of the Assiniboine and Sioux Tribes of Fort Peck in Poplar, Mont. Survivors include husband, Marvin Crusch; sister, Ardyce (Bob) Kelly; brother, JB (Vickie) McNeil; nieces and nephews, Laura Kelly (Les) Sherrill, Lana Kelly (Jay) Deeney, Jamin (Kris) McNeil, Merritt McNeil (Mark) Rundell and Robert (Venessa) McNeil; great-nephews and nieces, Levi and Logan Deeney, Haley and Hannah Sherrill, Max, Madison and Micah Rundell, Kegan and Jared McNeil, Madeline and McKenna McNeil; brothers- in-law, Dennis Crusch, Bobby Crusch; sister-in-law, Betty Crusch and cousins and their families. Carreen was preceded in death by son, Byron; parents, Evelyn and Dallas McNeil; sister-in-law, Marsha McNeil; brother-in-law, Keith Crusch. At Carreen's request, no service will take place.
