Anthony Joel “Tony” Warwick, 54, of Whiteriver died Nov. 23, 2014, at Mountain Vista Medical Center in Mesa. Mr. Warwick was born on Aug. 16, 1960, in Sacaton.
He was a casino vehicle maintenance manager. He was an outdoor person and liked to hunt and fish. He also liked to build radio-controlled helicopters and fly them, and he loved to take things apart and put them back together like a mechanical engineer.
He was involved in his traditional and spiritual ways and was a member of the Baha’i faith.
Survivors include his wife, Evangeline; two daughters, Lisa Warwick of Toppenish, Wash., and Angelea Warwick of Whiteriver; six sons, Davontay and Tyke Warwick of Blackwater, Lyndon Guy and Chris Perry of Whiteriver, Chandler and Clifton Hall of California; mother Barbara Jackson of Blackwater; four sisters, Robyn Murphy and Diana Warwick of Blackwater, Ginger Robinson of Coolidge and Penny Warwick of Casa Grande; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie Warwick, stepfather James Jackson and brother Patrick Warwick.
A graveside service was held Wednesday in Blackwater on the Gila River Indian Community.
