Vera Mae Ward of Wickenburg, died July 13. She was 82. Mrs. Ward was born July 6, 1918 in Covington, Ohio. She was a retired homemaker.

Survivors include her nieces, Phyllis C. Willis of Wickenburg, Denelda Hungerford of Indian Springs, Nev., and Delores Rubash of Meadview; two grandchildren, Mishelle and Scott McClay; five great-grandchildren; and brother Gene Hittle. Several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and a great-great niece and nephew, also survive.

Mrs. Ward was preceded in death by her husbands, K. Norman McClay and Fred W. Ward; and her son, K. Norman McClay.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 20 at the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery.
