MCKEOWN, Ruth May

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ June 27, 2001 Ruth May McKeown of Wickenburg, died June 22 in the Extended Care Unit at Wickenburg Regional Medical Center. She was 95. Mrs McKeown was born July 25, 1905 in Hailaberry, Ontario, Canada. She had lived in Arizona for the past three years. Ruth May McKeown was a retired registered nurse. She was the wife of the late D'Alton Petrie McKeown, MBE. She was also a member of the graduating class of 1928, at Ottawa Civic Hospital. Survivors include her daughter, Wendy North of Wickenburg; son William McKeown of Osaka, Japan, and Ventura, Calif.; and grandchildren Kevin, Kyna, Christy and Mark. There were no services. Frey Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
