East Valley Tribune, Tempe, Arizona Arlie Peterson Porter Arlie Porter, 55, was born February 26, 1951 in Mesa, AZ to Max and Billie Peterson. Arlie passed away on June 1, 2006 in her Mesa home after a three year battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband, Alan; and children, Jason (Julie), Jared (Kathy), Ryan (Melissa), Jennifer and Royce Peterson, Christy and Jose Jarvis, Lindsy and Robert Miller, Amanda and Brandon Sparks, Caleb and 15 grandchildren. She is also survived by her father; and siblings, Julie Kerby, Steven, Catherine Caldwell, David I., Frank, and David A. Arlie is preceded in death by her grandparents and mother. Viewing will be Thursday, June 8, 2006 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1852 N. Stapley Drive, Mesa, and again on Friday, June 9, 2006 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Funeral services will be Friday, June 9, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at 1852 N. Stapley Dr., Mesa, AZ.
