Karen Sue (Hatch) Hardin passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, Dec. 1st after a brave battle With cancer.
Karen was born in Holbrook, AZ Oct. 15th, 1957 to Orlin and Virginia Hatch. She was the 5th of seven children and cherished her brothers and sisters and their families. On November 25th, 1996 she married her best friend and the love of her Life Joe Hardin.
She is survived by her husband Joe, her daughter Bridgette Reynolds, Laura (Paul) Ooten, Joe Hardin, Jr., Johnny Hardin and one granddaughter Swayze Ooten.
Karen is also survived by her mother, Virginia Hatch and her brothers and sisters, Novelyn (Robert) Crosswhite, Tim (Donna) Hatch, Robin(Mike) Giragi, Ralph(Leida)Hatch, Stacy(Mark McKenzie)Hatch Barrera and Randy (Lisa) Hatch, her Mother in law, Joyce Hardin, sister in Law, Marti (Michael) Melina, brother in law, Jim (Teresa) Hardin, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. She will also be fondly remembered as “Aunt Karen” to many Cousins whom she cared for as if they were her own nieces and nephews.
Karen was a life-long animal lover, and also leaves behind her cherished pets Kiko, Isaac, Leo, Mama and Steve.
She was preceded in death by her father Orlin Hatch, Father in law Dennis Hardin, and Brother in law, Art Hardin.
Karen lived a beautiful life in Holbrook, surrounded by family and friends Who will greatly miss her fun loving spirit, spontaneity, and her kind heart.
Services will be held Friday Dec. 5th at 1:00 at the LDS Church in Holbrook, AZ
