Frances Elizabeth Martin Hall, 91, died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014, in Chandler, surrounded by all her living children and their spouses. She was born Feb. 3, 1923, on a ranch in Amity, now Eagar, to Drayton Conway Martin and Edith Frances Peach.
Frances was a friend to all and loved by everyone who knew her. She served her family, church and community in countless ways. She enjoyed the many years she served on the Hospital Auxiliary Board. She also served faithfully in the Primary, Young Women and Relief Society organizations of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She and Chellis worked side-by-side for many years at the Modern Store where she befriended everyone in Eagar and Springerville. People loved coming to the store just to feel of her kindness and happy nature.
In March 2012, Frances moved to Solterra Senior Living in Chandler to be closer to Chelisa, Brad and other family. She enjoyed her time there with her sweet dog, Dulce, her loving and constant companion.
After suffering a stroke, she spent her final days at Hospice of the Valley’s Dobson Home where she was lovingly cared for by their medical staff and other caregivers until her passing.
