WETMORE, David Havard


The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Friday, December 05, 2014 David Havard Wetmore of Mesa, Show Low and Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away on Nov. 25, 2014. He was born to Martha Rose Havard Wetmore and A.V. Jack Wetmore on April 8, 1944, in Washington, D.C. They lived in Virginia until moving to Tucson, Arizona, in August 1950, then to Sedona in May 1952. David attended Sedona Elementary School and High School and Junior College at Wentworth Military Academy in Lexington, Missouri, and ASU in Tempe, Arizona. David was an air ambulance pilot in/from the Scottsdale and Show Low areas with a very serious attitude of air safety. Survivors are Jack Wetmore, David's father; and his aunt (Jack's sister) Carolyn Gilles in Kansas City, Missouri. Also Jack's stepchildren, Pete Nelson of Scottsdale and Janet Nelson of Phoenix; and David's best friends, Barbara Jacober of Scottsdale and Charles R. (Bob) Neale of Parcell-Shawnee, Oklahoma. David is also survived by a dozen cousins and many friends, along with the Rowlands family in the Kansas City area.
