Vistoso Funeral Home, Oro Valley, Arizona Steve Balogh September 2, 1929 - November 17, 2014 Balogh, James "Steve" 85 of Sun City, Oro Valley, peacefully went to the Lord on November 17th, 2014. Born September 2nd, 1929 in New York City, to Alexander and Ethel Balogh. Preceded in death by his parents, brother Luis and daughter Antonine. Survived by his loving wife Julie of forty six years, granddaughter Harmony (John) Wilson and great grand children Brenden and Landon. Served in the Air Force in the Berlin Airlift from l948 to l954, Flight 3558, Squadron 3718. Retired from A&P Atlantic Pacific Company in New York and Davis Monthan air force Base in Tucson, Arizona. Steve was a member of the Connetquot Lodge # 888, F.& A. M. In Long Island, New York. He was also a Shriner at Sabbar Shrine Center for over 30 years in Tucson, Arizona. Also a member of the So. Arizona Research Lodge #2, Tucson, Arizona. He was twice Worshipful Master of Temple Lodge #51, in Oracle, Arizona. At the time of his demised he was a member of Tucson Lodge #4. For the last 15 years he was Senior Warden of the Military Degree in Tucson. For the past 16 years he was an active volunteer with the Oro Valley, Police Department and various clubs in Sun City where he resided. Steve and Julie enjoyed traveling the world and doing philanthropic work for various organizations.
