The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Wednesday, December 10, 2014 Willard John Lucas, 73, of Wilhoit, Arizona, passed away on Dec. 4, 2014, in Prescott, Arizona. He was born on March 2, 1941, in Winthrop, Minnesota, to Walter and Sarah Lucas. Willard is survived by his loving wife Fe; children LouAnn (Bruce Caldwell) Lucas of Prescott, Arizona, Noel John Lucas of Tucson, Arizona, Jon (Jill) Lucas of Minnesota, Jill (Tony Nelson) Lucas of Minnesota, and Jason (Joy) Lucas of Thornton, Colorado; brother Luke (Helen) Lucas; sisters Anita Lucas and Helen Cruse; grandchildren Payton, Colton, Weston, Alex, Joseph, Elizabeth, Cameron and Nicholas; and Eden, his great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by sisters Corrine Lucas and Ruby. Willard was a member of the American Legion Post 6 in Prescott, Arizona. He enjoyed many outdoor activities like fishing, camping and four-wheeling. He was very proud of his work and his loving family. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, at Yarnell Community Presbyterian Church, 16455 W. Table Top Way. In lieu of flowers, Willard's wife Fe Lucas is accepting donations.
