Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Saturday, December 13, 2014 - Claudio Adrian Derevizus, 55, passed away suddenly Dec. 6, 2014 at Havasu Regional Medical Center. Claudio was born Aug. 22, 1959 in South America, Argentina. He was raised in the Methodist church until 1970 when he came to America with his parents Hector and Raquel Derevizus. Claudio is survived by his mother, Raquel Derevizus and brother Christian Derevizus as well as his sister-in-law Christina and nephew Conner Derevizus of Lake Havasu City. He also is survived by his aunt, uncle and cousin in Argentina. He was preceded in death by his grandparents on both father and mother’s sides and by his father Hector Derevizus. Claudio worked many years at the McCulloch Corporation before it closed. After that, in the years before his illness he worked at St Vincent de Paul. Claudio enjoyed his family and riding his motorcycle. He had a deep love for this nation which was surpassed only by his love for God. He always enjoyed sharing his beliefs. He was wise, caring, tenacious in his faith, and generous. He will truly be missed by all who were close to him. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
