David’s Desert Chapel Funeral Home, Wickenburg, Arizona Roger Henry Erichsen of Wickenburg, Arizona passed away on November 21, 2014. Roger was born on September 10, 1936 in Kingston, New York to George and Mabel (Alsdorf) Erichsen. Roger was a long time member of the Wickenburg Elk’s Lodge #2160. He is survived by his wife Eleanor and many other family members. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him. Services are November 26, 2014 at 4:00 at the Elk’s Lodge. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona Wednesday, February 04, 2015 Roger H. Erichsen passed away peacefully to God on Nov. 21, 2014. He was dearly loved by many. He was born in Kingston, N.Y., Sept. 10, 1936, and moved to Wickenburg in 1968 with his wife and family to be closer to his parents George and Mable Erichsen. His wife Mary Lee passed. Their children are Charles (Marisela) Erichsen, Jolie (Eliot) Lewis from Indiana, Terri Martin and George Erichsen. He has many wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He married Eleanor Curtis in 1996. Her children, Eric (Pam) Curtis and Brad (Amber) Curtis and grandchildren live in Arkansas. He was a mulit-talented man, a rodeo clown, horseshoer, truck driver, volunteer fireman and heavy equipment operator with Hershkowitz Bros. Construction. Services were held by David’s Desert Chapel at the Elk’s Lodge #2160 on Nov. 25, 2014. A Gold Rush Days gathering will be held at his and Eleanor’s home after the parade on Feb. 14, as usual. The family would love for friends to attend. The gathering will be dedicated to Roger to honor him and his life.
