VALDEZ, Patrick A. (Pat)

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Friday, December 19, 2014 Patrick A. Valdez passed away Monday, Dec. 15, 2014, at 1 p.m. Pat was an incredible son, brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He valued his family and faith in Jesus Christ above all else. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and made friends wherever he went. Pat is survived by his dear friend, Shirley Schuster; his mother Patricia Valdez; and his four sisters, JoFay Umbhau, Cynthia Siu, Mary Wilson and Polly Hrenchir. He was the father to six children and the stepfather to three, Laura Connolly, Patricia Yarbro, Angela Valdez (deceased at birth), Adam Valdez, Karen Win Fox, McKay Valdez, William Grey, Nicole Christensen, and Jamie Pearce. He has 31 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A viewing will be from 9 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014, at the LDS Chapel, 441 W. Perkinsville Road, Chino Valley, Arizona, with services immediately after. Information provided by survivors.
