Ian Crighton Horn left this world on Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014. He was
born April 28, 1964, in Scotland, moving shortly after to California
with his parents, Mary and Alfred Horn (deceased) and his older brother,
Fred, where he grew up and lived before moving to Kingman for the rest
of his years.
Ian was a general contractor in building structures, specializing in
electrical and plumbing, as well as being a skilled mechanic. He worked
with Scott Wickland and Co., and for the Time Out Tavern, as well as his
mentor and friend, Jack Stone (deceased).
Very loving of his family and friends, Ian was a very enthusiastic
football fan who loved to fish and be outdoors. He played on a local
softball league for the Time Out Tavern, called Wickland Warriors. He
approached everything he did with a love and dedication, which will be
sorely missed.
Ian was loved by many, and surrounded himself with people who he made
his family in Kingman, including Scott Wickland, Angie Zanni, Ray
Zuniga, Steve Troy, Sashah Horner, Kirk Blalock (PJ) and many others.
Ian is survived by his Kingman family, as well as his daughter, Kelly
Fox; brother, Fred of Washington state; cousins, Kathy Castleberry,
Margaret Phipps, Ron Horn, and Shona of California. Survivors also
include cousins Mark Sinclair and Jan of Canada, and cousin Janice of
Scotland.
Ian, you were taken too soon and will be missed by all of us. You are
forever in our hearts!
A celebration of his love of life will be held at the Time Out Tavern in
Kingman, Ariz. on Dec. 27 at 2 p.m.
