LIBMAN-MOONEY, Lorraine (Lolly)


The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Saturday, December 20, 2014 Lorraine (Lolly) Libman-Mooney, 77, of Prescott Valley, Arizona, born in Chicago, Illinois, on Nov. 22, 1937, to Andy and Linnea Ogren (Wigren), passed away from cancer on Dec. 17, 2014. She was preceded in death by her first husband, George Libman, and her first-born son, Mark Libman. Lolly leaves behind her husband, George Mooney of Chicago; son Todd Libman of Prescott Valley; daughter Cheryl Gardner of South Elgin, Illinois; stepchildren Johnny, Michael and David; and grandchildren Derek, Dillon, Olivia, Helen, Fiona, Daniel, Matthew, Joseph, Mary Kate, Rachel, Patrick, Michael, Joe, Tommy, K.C. and Rory. Lolly was a devoted wife, mother and friend. She participated in Habitat for Humanity's vision for a world where everyone has a decent place to live. She put that into action by helping to build homes. Her passion expanded in many other ways by giving to others through various charities and volunteering her time to Breast Cancer Foundation. She will be deeply missed by all those whom she touched. Thank you, Mom, for your constant love and support. You were always there for us. You will stay in our hearts forever. Lolly chose not to have a memorial service. There will be a Celebration of Life ceremony in Illinois at a later date. Information provided by survivors.
