Hattie Williams passed surrounded by family and friends after an amazing 
97 years of life. 

Hattie grew up in Arkansas and married her high school sweetheart, 
Maurice Lee Williams, who predeceased her after over 50 years of 
marriage. They moved to California and raised three boys: Rodney, Tommy 
and Richard. 

Maury and Hattie finally retired in Golden Valley. 

Hattie is survived by two children, Rodney and Richard, and daughter-in-
law Diane; three sisters, Mary Louise Del Grande, Charlene Goolsby and 
Juanita Roberts; and her many grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces 
and nephews in California, Texas and Arkansas. 

Services will be held Saturday, Dec. 27, in the Golden Valley Baptist 
Church.
