Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ - Published on Sunday, December 28, 2014 - Todd William McLarty of Kingman passed away peacefully in his sleep on Dec. 11, 2014. He was born on September 23, 1958 in Mt. Clemens, Mich. He was preceded in death by his father, John, of Kingman. Todd is survived by his mother Shirley, of Kingman; his three brothers, Tom and his wife Barbara of Kingman, Tim of Phoenix, and Terry and his wife Lynn of Mesa; and his sister, Lori Amack and her husband Garnold of Victorville, Calif. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who will never forget their fun, knowledgeable, and loving uncle. Todd graduated from Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa, with a bachelor of science degree in Computer Information Systems. He worked as an IT professional and consultant as well as teaching computer science at the community college level. Todd loved spending time with his family. He was a passionate about astronomy and was involved with the High Desert Astronomy Club in Kingman. He was also involved with volunteering for local charities and the Kingman Air Show. His family loves him and misses him dearly, and knows he is now looking down on them from the great cosmos he loved so much. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at Calvary Chapel in Kingman. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to one of Todd's favorite charities, the United Way.
