Abbey Funeral Chapel, Tucson, Arizona Claudia Hill August 30, 1949 ~ December 12, 2014 Claudia Jean Hill, age 65, passed away on December 12th, 2014 of congestive heart failure at UMC. Born on August 30th 1949 in Williamsburg IA, Claudia grew up in Lincoln Township in Victor IA on a farm with her family. Claudia was a participant in the 4H Club and attended St. John’s Lutheran Church and School until she later moved to Scottsdale AZ and graduated from Saguaro High School. She married Edmund Hill and relocated to multiple places including Germany, Texas, and Alaska while he was on active duty in the air force. They later divorced and she resided in Tucson AZ for the last 30 years and recently retired from Southern Arizona Anesthesia as a medical insurance billing specialist. Claudia enjoyed many things in her life such as watching her children’s sporting events, scrapbooking and spending time with her close friends. Claudia’s passion was being a devoted grandmother to her grandkids and enjoying as much time with them as she could. Claudia was preceded in death by her father Martin Timm and mother Irene Timm. Survivors include her children Christine Hill of Phoenix AZ, Angela Percell of Longmont CO, and Eric (Tanya) Hill of Tucson AZ. Her siblings Don Timm of Cedar Rapids IA and Judy (Ed) Wiseman of Marion IA. She also has 3 grandchildren Alexander, Meranda, and Jake. Services will be held at 1pm on Thursday January 8th at The Abbeys Funeral Chapel located at 3435 North 1st Ave, Tucson AZ 85719. Family and friends are welcome to join us after the service at Monsoons Tap and Grill located at 6781 North Thornydale Rd, Tucson AZ 85741.
