CADORET, Charlotte (Jean)


The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Thursday, January 01, 2015 Charlotte “Jean” Cadoret Jean celebrated her 95th birthday and went home to the Lord the next morning, Dec. 10, 2014. She was born in Stratford, Connecticut, and enjoyed the fellowship she found in the Christ Episcopal Church. She worked at the Golden Rooster Thrift Shop until she moved to Arizona in 1981, after the death of her beloved husband. She worked until she was 80 at Country Leather and Casuals and was an active member of the Chino Valley Homemakers. She attended the Chino Valley United Methodist Church from the beginning when it was formed. She was a devoted housewife and mother and was known by many for her kind, giving and Christian ways with a witty sense of humor. Her husband Arthur Grover preceded her in death. She is survived by her son Arthur David; daughter Peggy Jean and husband Alan; grandson Jason and wife Sara; and two great-grandchildren, Rider and Nell. She was the matriarch of her family and the Cadoret family. Chino Valley Funeral Home handled her cremation. A Celebration of Life will be 11 a.m. Jan. 10, 2015, at Chino Valley United Methodist Church, 735 E. Road One South. Information provided by survivors.
