Services will be Saturday at San Francisco de Asis, 1600 E. Route 66. Rosary will be at 10:30 a.m. with mass to follow at 11 a.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Norvel Owens Mortuary, norvelowensmortuary.com. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Norvel Owens Mortuary, Flagstaff, Arizona Margaret Judith Banker (April 16, 1956 - December 26, 2014) Margaret Banker, 58, of Flagstaff, Arizona, formerly of Lincoln died Wednesday, December 24, 2014 in Flagstaff, Arizona. Born April 16, 1956 in Lincoln Nebraska to George and Bess (Parker) Banker. Margaret attended Cathedral of the Risen Christ grade school and Pius X high school. Attended Cliff Mann Floral Design School, Denver, Colorado. She w/as part owner and manager of Banker's Floral Shop along with her mother Bess Banker until its close in 1996. In Flagstaff she graduated from Southwest Institute of Healing Arts as a Licensed Massage Therapist. Margaret was active in her parish San Francisco de Asis in Flagstaff and was invested into the Secular Order of Franciscans and active in her Crusiilo community. She was employed in Flagstaff by the Ark Daycare where she loved her job. She told her boss, "I love my job, where else can I go to play all day long." She was active in Lincoln with Lincoln Sho-Rei-Shobu-Kan Martial Arts Center. Margaret loved people and animals. Had two cats, Timmy and Libby. Margaret is survived by her brothers, George (Ida), Springfield, IL; Francis (Susie), Augusta, GA; sisters, Mary (Larry) Elbert, Hillsdale, NJ; Cassie Chandler, Lincoln; Patty Cottingham, Lincoln, NE, Denise Banker(David), PortTownsend, WA. 21 nieces and nephews and 23 grandnieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents and brothers-in-law Bill Yates, Steve Chandler and Tim Cottingham. Grandnephew Cody Stone. Service will be Saturday, January 3, 2015 at San Francisco de Asis.
