Norvel Owens Mortuary, Flagstaff, Arizona Cynthia Gayle Jones (August 13, 1949 - December 30, 2014) Cynthia G. Jones, age 65, of Flagstaff died December 30, 2014. Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents Charles B. Jones and Doris L. Jones of Dallas, Texas and brother Charles “Chuck” Jones of Ash Fork, Arizona. Survivors include her longtime friend David Leard, Flagstaff, Arizona; sister-in-law Joy Elaine Jones, Ash Fork, Arizona; nephew Charles “Greg” Jones, Ash Fork, Arizona; and cousin Larry Ray, San Francisco, California. Cynthia completed her undergraduate studies in Occupational Therapy from Texas Women’s University, Denton, Texas and her graduate degree in Healthcare Administration from Southwest Texas State University, San Marco, Texas. Cynthia retired in September 2014 from Northern Arizona Council of Governments, Head Start, after fifteen years of service as the Mental Health and Disabilities Manager.
