Beloved Woman Is Called By The Reaper
(From Friday's Daily)
It will be learned with universal sorrow in this community that Mrs. William T. Birch has passed away at Santa Monica, Cal., telegrams received by relatives in Prescott announcing that the end came yesterday at noon. Mr. and Mrs. Birch left this city two weeks ago, for the above city to reside, the change being due to the ill health of this woman, who for years has suffered from Bright's disease. During her many years as a resident of Prescott she has become endeared to many, and her kindly deeds during a residence here of over thirty years made her a favorite with all. Her generosity knew no bounds, and cases are recalled where she voluntarily sacrificed much to alleviate sickness and distress in many homes.
She is survived by her husband, a sister, Mrs. Julius Jacoby, of this city, a sister, Mrs. Henry Coughran, of Buena Park, Cal., three brothers in New York City, another brother, Ben Heymann, overseas in the Army, and three sisters in New York City. Her daughter, Mrs. Thomas Morgan and a son, Charles Martin, are residing are not known, but it is believed the body will be brought to this city for burial.
Transcriber's note: Burial is at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Prescott, Ariz.
