SHEEHAN, James Dustin (Judd)


Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Wednesday, January 7, 2015 - James Dustin “JD” or “Judd” Sheehan of Lake Havasu City, lost his battle with Parkinson’s Dec. 24, 2014. Judd was born April 1, 1944 in Hanover, N.H. to Bernard and Barbara Sheehan. The family settled in Springfield, Ill. after Bernard returned from WWII. Judd attended Blessed Sacrament, Cathedral High, Griffin High School, Springfield JC, & IL State University. Judd married Maggie Shepherd, Sept. 7, 1964. They raised two sons, Patrick and Jason in Peoria, Ill. JD enjoyed working at Hiram Walker Distillery. He took great pride in his work as a coppersmith. On April 13, 1999, he married Kathleen (Phillips) Cravens. In June 2004, the couple moved from Springfield to Lake Havasu City. James was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Timothy Sheehan. Surviving are his wife, Kathy; sons, Patrick (Danae) and Jason Sheehan of Palm Springs; their mother, Maggie Jenkins of Washington, Ill.; step- children, Shannon and Davin Cravens; aunt, Helen Homan; grandsons, Jacob Sheehan (teaching in Chile) and Alex Steenbergen (attending ISU); granddaughters, Madison and Bella Sheehan; sisters-in-law, Ginger Sheehan and Jean (Tom) Rezinas; nieces, Keara Sheehan and Kerry (Kevin) Franzen; great niece and nephew; many loving cousins and friends. The family plans an informal remembrance at a later date. Should you wish to make a donation in James’ honor, the family requests you send it to Keara Sheehan Benefit Fund, Marseilles Bank, 100 E.
