Loving husband and father. Proceeded in death by his wife Laura J. Thomas and survived by his son Mike Thomas, brothers Bill, Jim and sisters Marcia and La Verna. Mike was a good Christian man. He loved talking to people and he could bring a smile to everyone he touched. If you were having a bad day just go talk to Merritt, and he would bring a smile to your face. Merritt had two favorite foods: chocolate milk and sausage. Our dog Angel was always happy to be his clean up crew. A Celebration of life will be held at Yarnell Presbyterian Community Church on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015, at 1 p.m. I miss you Dad Love, Mike
