NEWELL, William (Bill)

Kingman, Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ - Published on January 2, 2015 - William "Bill" E. Newell passed away on Dec. 23, 2014, at the age of 77. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Barbara A. Newell. Beloved father of Barbara Ludlam, Ellen "Sis" Egan (Steve) and William "Bill" E. Newell Jr. (Kim). Bill had six grandchildren, eight and a half great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, three brothers, two sisters, six brother-in-laws and seven sister-in-laws. Bill worked 38 years for Public Service Company of Colorado, was a coach for Shaw Heights baseball for 10 years, and was past president and member of Westminster Junior Chamber of Commerce, past president and member of Westminster High School Booster Club and a member of the Westminster Elks. Bill and Barbara retired and moved from Colorado to Meadview to enjoy the sun and scenery. He graduated from Mohave Community College and was an EMT for Mesa Fire District. A celebration of Bill's life is to be held in Colorado July 25, 2015.
