THORNE, Michael Andrew

Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ - Published on January 7, 2015 - Michael Andrew Thorne passed away Dec. 21, 2014, in Kingman at the age of 36. Michael was born May 22, 1978, in Grants, N.M., to Ray and Penny Thorne. Michael lived in Kingman from the time he was three months old until the day he left to be with his Heavenly Father. Michael attended Manzanita, Hualapai, Kingman Junior High and also Kingman High School. Michael enjoyed being with his friends, from just hanging out to riding bulls and horses. He also made a point to help anyone at anytime with anything they needed. Michael is now with his mother, Penny Thorne, grandfather, Ben Thorne, and grandparents Andy and Helen Burger. He is survived by his father, Ray Thorne, grandmother, Kitty Mann, sister, Sherry Thorne Jackson, brother-in-law, James Jackson, nephew, Justice Jackson, niece, Aspen Jackson, and multiple cousins, aunts and uncles. Michael was surrounded by family and friends as he peacefully left to be with his Heavenly Father. A celebration of life will be held at noon on Jan. 10 at The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Eastern. This isn't a time to mourn but to celebrate.
