Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Saturday, January 10, 2015 - Nancy L. Barnes, 79, of Lake Havasu City, formerly of Pennsylvania, died unexpectedly Dec. 26, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Barnes. Born in Bethlehem, Penn., she was the daughter of the late Charles F. Cope, Sr. and Helen (Emery) Cope. She loved to play bingo at the Elks and loved to gamble at the casinos. Survivors include her daughter, Kathy Heffner of Lake Havasu City and son, Charles Bowman of Pennsylvania; and brother, Charles F. Cope Jr. of Pennsylvania. She also had four grandchildren. Burial will be in Pennsylvania and a day of celebration in Lake Havasu will be announced at a later date.
